Is QUASAR-106 a synthesizer? Does it generate sound on its own?

QUASAR-106 is an audio effect plugin, not a standalone synthesizer. It processes your existing audio through its modeled filter, chorus, and drive circuits to add analog color, motion, and width.

Does this require an iLok or physical USB dongle?

No. QUASAR-106 authorizes with your MNTRA account — no dongles or iLok.

Will QUASAR-106 run on Apple Silicon and Windows?
