Lesson 6 of 71

Position a source in 3D

Place a source in space.

  1. 1

Set Distance to move the source nearer or further

  2. 2

Set Elevation for height (azimuth has no effect at the extremes)

  3. 3

Set Azimuth to rotate it around the listener

Notes

Distance is the diameter around the listener — larger appears quieter. Elevation is the vertical angle; at the top/bottom extremes azimuth has no effect. Azimuth is the horizontal angle around the listener, circular so you can rotate all the way around.
