Lesson 69 of 71

Set up the 3D heatmap

Show the energy cloud, then set its detail and sensitivity.

  1. 1

Toggle Enable Heatmap on to show the energy cloud (off lowers load)

  2. 2

    Resolution: Min 1k / Low 5k / Med 10k / High 20k / Max 50k — higher = more detail

  3. 3

Scaling: raise or lower to read very quiet or very loud signals

Notes

Turn Enable Heatmap on to show the 3D heatmap — a particle cloud of the reverb’s energy distribution (off reduces processing load). Set Heatmap Resolution from Min (1,000 particles) up to Max (50,000) — higher is more detailed but uses more processing and slows launch (the app briefly freezes when you change it). Adjust Heatmap Scaling to change how output energy is shown, useful to read the heatmap when the signal is very quiet or very loud.
